Tammy Dang

Co-Presidents of the NYU Alumni Club in the Bay Area Leighton and Tammy have gone above and beyond, hosting 30 events engaging over 300 local alumni in 2023.

The NYU Alumni Club in the Bay Area hosted the greatest number of events by any NYU alumni club in academic year '23 and it was a significant increase from the club’s 10 events the prior year. Additionally, they have recruited and welcomed seven new alumni club volunteers for the local leadership committee.

To maximize the accessibility of club activities, Leighton and Tammy have intentionally hosted events at various price points, and in all regions of the Bay Area. They have collaborated with their committee and local alumni to coordinate diverse calendar events (including events in partnership with the NYU Stern Bay Area chapter).
