Michael P. Denkensohn

Since 2007, Michael P. Denkensohn (STERN '73) has been the Executive Director at Seward & Kissel. In that role, he has responsibility for the Firm’s non-legal operations and has functional responsibility for, among other things, the Firm’s finance, human resources, benefits, recruitment, marketing, technology, office operations and space and facilities activities.

From 2000 to 2007, he was the Executive Director at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP. During the 1996-2000 time frame, he was Global Head of Human Resources and Chief Financial Officer at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. From 1973-1996, he was at Arthur Andersen, where he was both an audit and administrative partner. Mike is a 1973 graduate of the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University; and, he was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting (Summa Cum Laude).
