Lindsey Ferrentino Bio
Lindsey Ferrentino is a New York-based playwright originally from Florida, where many of her plays are set. Her critically-acclaimed Ugly Lies the Bone was a New York Times Critic's Pick and played a sold-out, extended run at Roundabout Theatre before being produced at The National Theatre in London in the 900 seat Lyttleton Theatre.
In the 2017/2018 season in New York, her play Amy and the Orphans premiered at Roundabout Theatre Company and was called “barrier breaking” in the New York Times. This Flat Earth is currently running at Playwrights Horizons. Her next production is her new play The Year to Come which will open at La Jolla Playhouse next fall. In the New York Times Lindsey has been called “a brave playwright of dauntless conviction whose unflinching portraits are hard to come by outside of journalism.”
